Bad weather leaves man homeless in Madeira

One person has been displaced in the municipality of Santa Cruz, east of Madeira, due to bad weather that is affecting the archipelago, the municipality said on Tuesday, citing part of a house’s roof fell during the night.

Unfavorable weather conditions have led to the closure of several public services, and the Madeira government decided to suspend educational activities in all schools and all levels of education in Madeira on Tuesday, resuming normal activities on Wednesday.
