The Disciplinary Board will initiate an investigation process related to the BSports Academy and alleged acts of possible criminal significance related to human trafficking, the Portuguese Football Federation (FPF) said on Saturday in a statement.
The investigation also aims to clarify contacts between the organization and Portuguese clubs, as well as “games played between teams formed by minors integrated into the BSports Academy and teams from Portuguese clubs.”
“The CD considers it necessary to clarify the circumstances under which such contacts or games took place in order to assess the possible disciplinary significance of the conduct that can be attributed to clubs and their sports agents” in professional and non-professional football competitions.
