The man who shot and killed his wife and two men at his company in Vendas de Pusada, Coimbra, in May, did not like the 53-year-old woman’s involvement in organizing walks and hikes. According to a source from the SP Center, who detained him after being discharged from the hospital, this activity was connected with going outside, and he preferred to be at home, in touch.
The situation worsened because a woman was about to be appointed president of the association. On May 1, he entered the company, where the victim was meeting with other elements to organize another walk, and fired several shots from a shotgun.
Two men aged 63 and 69 were seriously injured. One is at risk of losing one arm, while the other is hit in the face and blind in one eye. The woman was scratched in the head area and then severely beaten with a pistol.
The JV admits that he did not shoot again because he did not have ammunition. However, he will remain convinced that he would have killed her.
