Judgment in the case of João de Souza, Former Inspector of the Judicial Police and now Forensic Consultant, and Tanya Reis, Attorney who represented Rosa Grilo in the murder of her husband Luis Grilo based on evidence planted during this Wednesday’s investigation and during the hearing three NPR soldiers were heard.
The officers told the court that when they went up to the bedroom and bathroom, they found more traces of bullet fragments in the bathtub, in the dresser drawer and in the jewelry box. The judicial police guarantee that there was no evidence and believe that they were planted later.
Tanya Reis and Joao de Souza are charged with the crime of personal favoritism, which can be punished by imprisonment for up to three years on suspicion of planting evidence.
The next meeting will take place on December 20, and new witnesses will be heard.
