Ceuta records three mass immigration attempts in the past three years

The autonomous Spanish city of Ceuta has recorded three mass migrant infiltration attempts at the Moroccan border in the past three years, suggesting forced crossings are currently being made in small groups to avoid border security.

Sources from the Spanish Civil Guard said this Sunday, on the first anniversary of the invasion on the Melilla border that killed dozens of people, that sub-Saharan migrants decided to change the way they entered the city after attempts to enter groups became frequent, Efe news agency reported. .

At 8.2 km of the land border that separates the autonomous city of Ceuta from Morocco in North Africa, only one attempt was made this year.
