Magalhães e Silva, the lawyer representing Luis Filipe Vieira in the Operation Red Card case, has now joined the defense team of millionaire Armando Pereira arrested in the context of the Operation Picoas case.
Recall that both investigations are conducted by prosecutor Rosario Teixeira. The investigation into the co-founder of Altice was born precisely from the investigation of football deals, where Ernani Vaz Antunes, Pereira’s friend and right-hand man, was caught talking about suspicious deals with Altice.
This initial process resulted in two investigations: Operation Red Card, in which Vieira is accused, and Operation Prolongamento, which investigates Pinto da Costa and FC Porto.
