Portuguese international center Neemias Keta signed a “standard contract” with the Sacramento Kings, with whom he retained a two-way contract, the North American Basketball League (NBA) team announced this Wednesday.
Without revealing further details, the Kings only say that Neemias Kveta’s new contract is a “standard NBA contract”, as opposed to the previous one, called bilateral, as it allows the main basketball world championships to be used in the development of League (G-League) games.
The 24-year-old pole was selected by the Sacramento Kings 39th overall in the 2021 NBA draft, becoming the first Portuguese to play in the competition despite playing the majority of games with the Stockton Kings minor team. G-league.
In his first two seasons in the NBA, Nimias Kweta appeared in 20 games for the Sacramento team. Pole was used most often by the Stockton Kings, for whom he played 43 games last season, averaging 17.7 points, 8.7 rebounds and 1.9 tackles per game.
