A 21-year-old man says he was beaten by security guards at a nightclub in Povoa de Varzim last Thursday at dawn when he tried to protect a friend. There were several bruises on the victim’s body, mostly on the face, which prevented him from working. Another was also hospitalized.
The incident began with a small confusion on the track, which was quickly eliminated. The young man recalls that his friend was eventually kicked out of the club, and he refused to pay the bill. At this point, that person will be attacked with a punch to the forehead, and then the victim will try to intervene.
“After talking for a bit, they grabbed me… and I reacted, I tried to shake my hands off me. Please let me go and soon they were coming at me, punch after punch, knee after knee… bare from behind choking at the end, then I don’t remember much either. I did not lose consciousness, but it was the most severe beating that I suffered,” the victim said. CMTV.
In a panic, the rest of the group called the fire department and PSP. After rendering assistance on the spot, the young people were taken to the hospital.
