Daniel Sancho was “in shock” after learning the final results of the autopsy of the Colombian surgeon Edwin Arrieta.
This Monday, Thai police reported that a young man had beheaded his 44-year-old friend.
“At first they argued, according to the testimony at the scene [do crime]. Daniel hit Edwin, then the doctor fell and hit his head on the tub, but did not die at that moment. He died when Daniel began to slit his throat,” authorities said.
Attorney Teresa Buies, quoted in lectures, says the young man was “totally shocked” and “depressed” to learn of the results.
“We do not know if this was the case, because we agree or not with this result,” he said.
The 29-year-old man, detained since August 7, is charged with the murder and dismemberment of Edwin Arrieta.on the island of Koh Phangan, Thailand.
