A 73-year-old man who went missing in the city of Agrela in the province of Santo Tirso was found by a search and rescue team. It was the trained GNR dogs who found the victim, clinically demented and with limited mobility, lying in the middle of vegetation, away from traffic routes.
It all happened on August 27th. As soon as the PNS at the Santo Tirso post received an alarm, it immediately entered the territory together with the military in the morning, conducting searches. With the help of cinematographic binomials, the man was found in the afternoon.
I was scared and disoriented. Santo Tirso firefighters stabilized him and rescued him at the scene, and because he had superficial injuries, he was taken to the hospital.
