The Food and Economic Security Authority (ASAE) suspended 10 “trailers” as part of a national review, opening 32 administrative cases.
The inspection activities were “aimed at economic operators engaged in non-settled catering or beverage activities” and 75 economic operators were audited, focusing on “issues such as food safety procedures based on the HACCP system”. Among the main violations that led to the initiation of 32 cases of administrative offenses are non-compliance with hygiene requirements, the absence of processes based on the system of risk analysis and control of critical points, or the lack of prior communication.
Activity in “mobile homes” is defined by the legal regime of access and implementation of trade, services and catering (RJACSR) “providing food and beverages for a fee”, “in which the presence of the supplier in places of provision is not of a fixed and permanent nature, namely in mobile or fixed installations, as well as in fixed installations where there are less than 20 annual events with a maximum cumulative annual duration of 30 days,” concludes the agency.
