The woman was rescued on Sunday evening, and the couple’s daughter managed to get to the local fire station without assistance.
In Toledo, where three people have died due to heavy rains, the Civil Guard continues to search for a woman who disappeared on Sunday after she was swept away by river waters while driving on a road near the municipality of Valmojado.
