To summarize the case, according to the ASAE statement, six people were named as defendants, two of whom were arrested on the spot for illegal ticket sales after advertising tickets for sale at a price above their face value with the intent to obtain undue financial gain. advantage.
“11 digital tickets with a face value of €20.00 were confiscated and the tickets were sold for more than their official value, with approximately €45.00 being sought for each ticket,” ASAE said.
The UPPEB reported that on this Wednesday afternoon one of the detainees was already present in court, and a decision was made to temporarily suspend the process with a suspension of the sentence of imprisonment for five months and payment of a fine of 500.00 euros.
“ASAE warns consumers that they should avoid purchasing tickets above their official value, as such sale constitutes a speculative offense punishable by imprisonment of six months to three years and a fine of at least 100 days,” the government body also mentioned .
