The Russian leader of the Donetsk region introduced a five-hour curfew

Denis Pushilin, the Russian leader of the Donetsk region annexed by Russia, imposed a curfew, according to a decree published this Sunday.

According to Reuters, the movement of civilians on streets and in public places is prohibited from 23:00 to 4:00 from Monday to Friday. It is also prohibited in Donetsk to hold meetings, rallies and demonstrations, as well as other mass events without the permission of the Operational Headquarters for Response to Military Threats in the Region.

The decree signed on September 18 by Denis Pushilin introduced “military censorship of postal correspondence and messages transmitted through telecommunications systems, as well as control of telephone conversations.”

It is also planned to create control and security posts on the borders with Lugansk and Zaporozhye regions.
