In the 1/8 finals of the English League Cup, Manchester United, owned by the Portuguese Bruno Fernandes and Diogo Dalot, will meet Newcastle, the team that left Manchester City this Wednesday. The Magpies beat the Citizens by the smallest margin in St James’ Park (1-0).
The draw for the next round of the tournament, which took place this Wednesday evening, also determined the London derby between West Ham and Arsenal, the club for which Portuguese players Fabio Vieira and Cedric Soares play.
Diogo Jota’s Liverpool will travel to Bournemouth, while Joao Palinha and manager Marco Silva’s Fulham will travel to Ipswich Town.
