A 20-minute documentary about the pilgrimage of Our Lady of Fatima at the end of July to the Tagus Park in Lisbon during World Youth Day will be presented this Friday at the Sanctuary of Fatima.
The film, directed by Pedro Cunha, shows five days during which some 400 pilgrims – 360 young scouts and guides from France and 40 members of the National Scout Corps (CNE) from Portugal – traveled the distance between Cova da Iria and Lisbon. , depicting the pilgrimage of Our Lady of Fatima.
The documentary, entitled “Pray with your Feet,” depicts “the heart of the international Anda Com Maria pilgrimage”, organized by CNE in collaboration with the Sanctuary of Fatima and passing through Minde, Alcanena, Santarem, Cartacho, Azambuja and Loded, ending with a boat crossing from Vila Franca de -Xira to Lisbon.
According to reports, the message of the documentary “follows the thoughts of Pope Francis: although the physical pilgrimage is over, the spiritual journey never ends. Be missionaries and witnesses to what you have experienced.”
This is the sixth documentary film produced by Slideshow in the last three years and is dubbed in French and Portuguese.
The presentation with the participation of the rector of the Sanctuary of Fátima, Carlos Cabecinhas, is scheduled for 15:00 this Friday at the Casa de Nossa Senhora das Dores.
