This will include Indonesia, Papua New Guinea, Timor and Singapore. He is carrying 16 speeches in his luggage. In Timor, he will speak in Italian and Spanish. The key topic will be peace, but other issues that concern the world, such as climate change, will not be forgotten.
“There will hardly be any lack of reference to the environment. These are countries between the ocean and the sky, seas and mountains, precious minerals, forests. We will reflect on the care of Creation and the life worthy of man,” said the director of the Vatican press service, Matteo Bruni. The return home is planned for September 13.
