The Council of Justice (CJ) of the Portuguese Football Federation (FPF) considered unfounded the protest of FC Porto, the purpose of which was to repeat the meeting with Arroca from the fourth round of the I League, which ended in a 1:1 draw.
According to a resolution published on Tuesday on the official website of the FPF and dated October 19, the federal body decided “not to cancel the game and not to repeat it”, opposing the thesis defended by the “dragons”, who presented a similar request to delegates of the Portuguese Professional Football League (LPFP).
On 3 September, following the equalizer against Arroca, Porto announced in a statement that they were going to appeal the call due to the actions of referee Miguel Nogueira during the disallowance of a penalty awarded for a foul on Mehdi Taremi.
