A fireworks explosion at the school Escola Básica EB 2+3 da Costa da Caparica, Almada, injured at least 11 students this Thursday.
This was reported by an official source in civil defense. CM that “the alarm was declared at 12:29 and led to the mobilization of 7 vehicles and 17 firefighters from Casillas, GNR, as well as the Red Cross ambulance crew.”
“These are injuries to the eyes and ears. There are no serious injuries, but all minors were taken to the emergency department of the García de Orta Hospital,” the same source concluded.
An official source at GNR said: CM that the explosion of firecrackers is not confirmed, it is an explosion of carnival firecrackers, and connects this event with the approach of “Halloween” on October 31.
