A CMTV once again topped all national cable news channels. A television morning Post Most Portuguese prefer to learn about the political crisis from day one, from the day of the searches in São Bento and the dismissal of the prime minister.
This Friday, CMTV was in the lead with a total audience of 2.6 million Portuguese, far surpassing all competitors. Sic Notícias and CNN reached only about 2 million viewers.
Average per day CMTV received 4.9%, while SIC Notícias and CNN each had a share of 3%.
Of the 10 most watched programs of the day on cable television, 8 are from CMTV.
Grande Jornal da Noite became the most watched program, with a total of 830 thousand viewers.
A CMTV has been in the lead for 19 months without a break. It airs on Channel 8 on all cable platforms, but not yet on DTT.
