André Villas-Boas has already reacted in a statement published on social networks to the acts of vandalism that occurred in the condominium where he lives in Porto early this Wednesday morning.
“Today, at approximately 12:48 a.m., my home was the target of violence and vandalism. Firecrackers were thrown, which alerted me, one of my employees, and some neighbors,” he writes.
The football coach adds that “unfortunately, acts of intimidation, vandalism and violence continue and I ask for strong cooperation from the authorities in resolving these incidents.”
The condominium in Porto where Andre Villas-Boas’ home is located was the target of vandalism early Wednesday morning. The project caretaker was attacked and hospitalized.
A police patrol car was called to the scene at midnight after several firecrackers went off. A few hours later, a group of people approached the condominium and attacked the security guard. The 64-year-old man was rescued at the scene and taken to Santo Antonio Hospital in Porto.
The group fled the scene after stealing the victim’s car. PSP is investigating the matter.
