On Tuesday evening, a group of approximately 150 “casual” Inter Milan fans were under PSP surveillance in the city of Lisbon. The football club will face Benfica this Wednesday at the Estádio da Luz in the Champions League.
At 21:30 the group was in the area of Ralis (Portela de Sacavem) where they set off firecrackers. They headed towards Rua dos Logistas and caught the metro at Encarnação (Olivais) station at 11:00 pm.
About midnight they alighted at Baisha station and, after wandering about for some time, returned to their hotels without any reports of any disturbance.
In April, during a 2022/23 Champions League game, Benfica fans threw lit torches at Inter fans at the Stadio Giuseppe. Meazza, which led to Benfica fans being banned from traveling to Italy in this edition.
