This year’s opening of Óbidos Vila Natal, scheduled for this Thursday, was postponed until Friday on the recommendation of civil protection due to unfavorable weather conditions, the organization said.
“On the recommendation of civil protection, this Thursday’s schedule was canceled due to lack of conditions,” said Ricardo Duque from the company Municipal Obidos Criativa.
According to the person in charge, the problem “primarily was the heavy rain and wind that was felt in the city and which also caused power outages that prevented the operation of some equipment.”
Thus, Obidos Villa Natal should open its doors on Friday and “holders of tickets for this Thursday will be able to use them on any other day of the event” or “the organization will return the amount paid,” added Ricardo Duque.
The 2023 edition of Óbidos Vila Natal will run until December 31st, every day of the week, ending only on Christmas Day.
The daily schedule, schedule and activities can be found on the event’s official website, and tickets can be purchased at obidos.bol.pt or purchased at the ticket office at the entrance.
