Former Brazilian President Jair Bolsonaro, who is still in a hospital in Orlando, US, said he is fine and plans to return to the country ahead of schedule after being discharged, which is expected to happen in the coming days. Bolsonaro also says the last few days have not been “calm”.
“This is my third hospitalization for severe intestinal obstruction. I came to spend time with my family, but I didn’t have quiet days. First there was this unpleasant episode, yesterday [domingo]in Brazil and then this hospitalization of mine,” Bolsonaro told CNN Brasil early this Monday morning.
As for returning to Brazil, Bolsonaro emphasizes that he intends to anticipate the trip, as doctors in Brazil are already aware of his condition. The former president did not comment on the incidents in Brazil.
– After being stabbed in Juiz de Fora/MG, I had 5 surgeries. Since the last one, I have had 2 adhesions, which led me to other medical procedures.
