Juliano played for the Neapolitan club for 17 years (from 1961 to 1978), 12 of them as team captain, with a total of 394 matches played and 24 goals scored. He also spent a season at Bologna before retiring in the 1978/79 season.
With the Napoli team he won two Italian Cups (1962 and 1976), and with the Italian national team he played 18 matches, won the 1968 European Championship and finished second in the world in 1970, in Mexico, where Italy was defeated. in the final from Brazil.
After finishing his professional career, Antonio Juliano became part of the Napoles management structure, participating in the signing of Argentinean Diego Maradona in 1984.
