Portuguese Nuno Espirito Santo is the new coach of Nottingham Forest, returning to the English Football League after spells at Wolverhampton and Tottenham, the club said in a statement on Wednesday.
“Nuno joins the club on a two-and-a-half-year contract and will make his first appearance on Saturday when Forest face Bournemouth at the City Ground,” the club’s website reads.
Espirito Santo, 49, left Saudi Arabia’s Al Ittihad in early November after leading Jeddah to the title last season and is heading to England to replace Steve Cooper in the 17th-placed team in the ranking. Premier League.
