A 33-year-old man stabbed a 40-year-old woman to death in the early hours of Wednesday in Payau, Figueira da Foz.
When law enforcement officers arrived on the scene, the woman was already dead. The suspect surrendered to PSP and was later handed over to GNR.
The alarm came at 4:20 am. It is believed that the crime occurred against the backdrop of domestic violence. The youngest daughter was at home when the crime occurred.
Volunteer firefighters and firefighters from Figueira da Foz, INEM and GNR were present at the scene.
The man has already been detained by the authorities.
