The TVI antenna also broadcast a “Special Information” at 17:35, which lasted 25 minutes and which was also rejected CMTV. TVI news was watched by 331 thousand viewers with a share of 10.4%, which is significantly lower than CMTV.
At today’s hearing CMTV guaranteed an average daily share of 8.4 versus 2% for CNN and 1.9% for SIC Notícias. That is, alone CMTV receives more than twice the audience of its competitors combined.
A CMTV airs only on Channel 8 on all cable platforms, not DTT.
