Recently, athletes and managers denounced the lack of facilities and minimum hygiene and sanitation requirements in CAR Jamor canteens and cited an inspection carried out by the Food and Economic Security Authority (ASAE) following a complaint reporting cockroach and bedbug infestations.

Speaking on this topic, Diana Gomez emphasized that she “recognizes that the problems exist, are real and are being addressed.”

“We have been provided with this information, so we will be monitoring it very closely,” he said.

The former swimmer also believes the situation will “bring more scrutiny and attention” across the country.

“There are several structures responsible for the CAR, and the federations themselves also have their own guardians who can be close to the athletes. A system has been created for this,” he noted, repeating that the CAO “will also remain close to the CAR.” athletes”.
