The new regime establishes that “medical certificates of multi-purpose disability remain valid until a new assessment is guaranteed, thereby ensuring the provision and preservation of the social, economic and tax benefits recognized for citizens with disabilities.”

“Congenital or other conditions that result in a certain degree of permanent disability will also be exempted from the medical board based on criteria to be determined by order of government members responsible for the fields of social welfare and health,” the Ministry of Health said in a statement.
