US presidential candidate Ron DeSantis has announced that he is suspending his campaign. In a video posted this Sunday on social networks, he also showed his support for Donald Trump.
“It is clear to me that the majority of voters in the Republican primaries want to give Donald Trump another chance… Although I had differences with Donald Trump. […]he surpasses the current holder [do cargo de presidente dos Estados Unidos] Joe Biden. That much is clear,” DeSantis said in a video posted on Platform X.
The 45-year-old American was considered the Republicans’ main weapon in defeating the former president.
