National Road 108 in Valbom, Gondomar municipality, partially reopened to traffic at 7:35 p.m. after more than two hours in both directions due to a traffic accident, a local fire service source told Lusa.
Traffic is now possible in the direction of Foz do Sousa Porto, the source added, explaining that a full reopening is expected after the removal of the passenger car involved in the accident.

The traffic disruption on the minor road connecting Entre-os-Rios to Porto occurred at the 1.8-kilometer mark, the source added.
The accident involved a passenger car and a motorcycle, leaving the motorcycle’s passenger with “serious injuries” and the car’s driver with minor injuries, the source added, adding that they were both taken to Santo Antonio Hospital in Porto.
According to the Civil Defense website, there were 14 police officers and five vehicles at the scene at 6:30 p.m.
