A woman and a man, aged 63 and 68, are suspected of stealing about 150,000 euros from a 77-year-old man in the municipality of Viseu, the PNP said on Monday.
The GNR statement explained that the two suspects were charged on Friday with theft, computer fraud, forgery and breach of trust.
As part of the investigation, which lasted about 13 months, the PPR military conducted several police investigations, which made it possible to establish that the suspects stole about 150 thousand euros from the victim.
During the action, household appliances, furniture, telecommunications equipment and hundreds of documents were confiscated.
The facts were submitted to the Viseu Court.
