Organizations linked to health, education and solidarity will launch an anti-violence campaign on Wednesday, which aims to raise awareness and involve the entire population in preventing violence.
The campaign, entitled “It’s not accepted, period”, is an initiative of the NHS Executive Directorate, the Directorate General of Schools and the National Commission for the Promotion and Protection of the Rights of Children and Young People. support of the Chamber of the Municipality of Cascais.
Although the National Violence Prevention Campaign launched on Valentine’s Day, it is aimed not only at combating dating violence, but throughout life, whether it affects children, youth or older adults.
According to the National Health Service (NHS) website, the aim is to create “a framework for the involvement and active participation of the whole community in preventing violence”.
“This campaign represents an important milestone for the network,” the note adds.
The campaign will be launched on Wednesday at an event at the Estoril Congress Center, with speeches by SNS executive director Fernando Araújo, education minister Antonio Leite, and president of the National Commission for the Promotion of Human Rights. and “Protection of Children and Youth”, Rosario Farmhouse, and Cascais City Council President Carlos Carreiras.
Interventions by several individuals are also planned, mainly related to the health and education sectors.
