Galeno’s stoppage-time goal gave Porto a 1-0 victory over Arsenal this Wednesday in the first leg of the round of 16 of the Champions League at the Stadio Dragao.
The winning goal came in the final minute of stoppage time with the score 90+4, allowing the Dragons, European champions in 1987 and 2004, to take advantage in the second leg, scheduled for March 12 in London.
Porto are aiming to beat the eighth-placed champions for the sixth time after the 2003/04, 2008/09, 2014/15, 2018/19 and 2020/21 seasons.
