A man in his 40s was shot in the back late on Friday in the Horta Nova area of Carnida, Lisbon. The victim became embroiled in an apparent dispute between two members of rival gangs and had to drag himself to the local PSP police station where he sought assistance.
The attack took place at 23:00 on Vitor Santos Street. The man was shot in the back by a stray bullet and still had to walk about 50 meters to reach the PSP post located in the Orta Nova area. This was reported by an official source of the security forces. CM that “the man persistently knocked on the door of the car service center where the agent who helped him was located.”
He was rescued by Lisbon firefighters and INEM and admitted to the Santa Maria Hospital. The judicial police are investigating.
