Searches were carried out on Monday afternoon in Benavente, near the Sorraia River valley, on suspicion of the disappearance of a woman.
The alarm was declared at 20:00. For what CM It emerged that a member of the public saw the woman jump onto the bank of the Sorraia River and when he did not see her again, he alerted the authorities.
Benavente firefighters and PNR officials patrolled the area in cars and boats on the shore to look for the woman, but were unable to find anyone.
