Lawson Spolansky, a 15-year-old Tiktok teen, said he was “heartbroken” after discovering that the best friend he had for 10 years was actually an actor hired by his aunt. according to the message Mirror.
In the video, titled “I’m Finally Ready to Share This Horrible Story with You,” Lawson explains how it all started in July 2012, when he was just five years old.
It all started when his aunt told Lawson one day that he “had to be a better person.” After a few days of this conversation, the young man fell and injured his knee while playing in the park. At that moment, a boy came up to him and laughed at him while Lawson cried.
The boy’s mother came over and helped him. It happened while Lawson’s babysitter was in a public bathroom at the park where he was playing.
When the new school term began, Lawson saw that in his class there was the same boy whom he calls Dexter, and they were deskmates.
Since then, they became good friends, they began to get closer, and the young man even began to do better in school.
In 2018, Dexter told Lawson he wanted to go on a trip with him to Paris, Spain and California. “I was shocked, I thought it was crazy,” Spolansky said.
Dexter asked Lawson to make a list of all the things he wanted to take on the trip, but the next day his friend told him that he didn’t think they could go after all.
When Lawson confronted his colleague, the young man said, he used “weird reasons, like being too sick.”
When the TikToker told his father what happened, he said that these things happen and that “life surprises.” The next day, Lawson’s father posted a photo on Instagram of Lawson and Dexter on vacation in Hollywood. Since the “friend” said he was sick, the young man became suspicious.
Life went on and years later, in 2021, he revealed the true story of his friendship with Dexter.
Lawson discovered that her aunt had hired Dexter, an actor, to be her “best friend.” The supposed friend’s “mother” was also a contractor and ran a production company.
The young man also said that the former therapist he turned to for advice was the agent’s sister – Dexter’s fictional mother. The young man told Dexter about these accusations, and he confirmed them.
“I’ve never experienced real friendship, so thank you, Aunt Jecca,” before adding: “I don’t know what to do now,” the young man says.
However, according to the newspaper, Dexter was also deceived by his real mother all this time.
“His real mother (a woman I never dated, only dated a manager who acted like his mother) signed him up for it, and when he was old enough, he signed the contract,” Lawnson says.
