The PSP statement explained that as part of this police operation, three men, aged 40, 48 and 49 years old, living in Vila Nova de Famalicão in the Braga district, as well as Maia and Matosinhos in the Braga district, were arrested. Porto.
The suspects were in possession of electronic devices for programming and unlocking automobile security systems, electronic equipment (control units, telematics and starters), laptop computers, hard drives, cell phones and high-end vehicle keys, materials seized by then, he said. .
As part of the investigation, police added, three expensive cars stolen using this method have already been returned.
The operation was carried out by the PSP Criminal Investigations Unit with support from the GNR.
Now the detainees will be taken to the judicial authorities to apply coercive measures.
