Two people are dead and two are missing after a pleasure boat sank this morning in Troy. The fifth crew member was rescued alive. This is the helmsman of the ship “Lingrinas”, a 62-year-old man.

Members of the Setúbal Marine Police Local Command discovered and recovered the child’s body.
The body of one of the three missing adults was recovered by a Portuguese Air Force aircraft and returned by a maritime police vessel.
According to the National Maritime Administration, the vessel was carrying a man about 45 years old (Jose) and his 13-year-old son, as well as two young men aged 21 (Gabriel) and 23 years old.
It was supposed to sink at 7:00 am, but the alarm reached authorities around 10:00 am.
The search for the two missing people, coordinated by the port captain and the local chief of Setúbal’s maritime police, has been suspended. A vessel from the local marine police department of Setúbal and a vessel from the Sesimbra rescue station were hijacked at sea. Members of the Grandola Volunteer Fire Department and Comporta GNR are also conducting ground searches.
The searches will last until 20:00. If the missing people are not found, the search will resume Monday morning.
A Portuguese Air Force aircraft and a Portuguese Navy ship are also on site.
NCIS Psychological Unit has been activated and is providing support.
