Early this Sunday morning, a restaurant in Pacos de Ferreira was robbed, from which 10 thousand euros were stolen. CCTV footage shows one of the thieves breaking down a window to gain entry shortly before 4:00am and bending over to avoid being filmed.
The suspect then approached the counter of the San Domingos restaurant and searched for several valuables. He then went elsewhere and soon returned to the counter to continue searching for the product. At some point he left the restaurant.
According to the owner of the premises, the door leading to the restaurant’s kitchen was also broken into. 10 thousand euros were seized from the safe, which was later located in the office. Antonio Santos, the owner of the restaurant, suspects that the thief filmed had an accomplice.
In the room where the safe was located, the cameras do not work properly. The GNR has been called and is investigating.
