The PSP of Sintra is investigating a robbery involving two minor boys, aged 14 and 15, which occurred late Wednesday evening in Casal de Cambra. The crime was committed by a man who, in addition to hitting an elderly victim who was in hospital, left two younger victims without clothes and shoes.
The crime occurred at 19:30 on Estrada Nacional 250-1, at the entrance to Casal de Cambra. Two boys were walking home when a thief crossed their path. With a knife drawn, he demanded personal property from both of them.
The older boy had a backpack, which he gave to the thief. He was also forced to give up his cell phone – his friend also handed over his device – his house keys, his wallet with documents and 10 euros. It was then that the robber demanded that the victims hand over their clothes and shoes.
The two youngest were brutally attacked, and the eldest was even stabbed. He had to be taken to the pediatric emergency department of Santa Maria Hospital in Lisbon. A police source said CM that the two young men could not give any description of the thief.
