In a repeat of what happened in the city of Sao Paulo just a week earlier, a 16-year-old killed his adoptive parents with a hammer on Friday in Jacarezinho, in the western zone of the Brazilian city of Rio de Janeiro. , and then went to have a quiet lunch with a friend.
As in the Sao Paulo incident on Friday last week, the teenager himself called the police to report the crime. The young man also called the fire department, since it was he who set the house on fire.
The minor told police that he was angry with his parents because they did not want him to miss school to rest and then go to jiu-jitsu classes.
In a rage, he swung a hammer and, throwing violent blows in a rage, killed his parents, who adopted him in 2014, when he was six years old.
Having brutally killed his father and mother, the boy called a friend and went to have dinner with him peacefully, as if nothing had happened.
Returning home, he set fire to the room where he killed his parents to burn the bodies, but the fire got out of control and engulfed the entire top floor of the house where the bedrooms were, and he decided to call the fire department to put out the fire. At this point, he also called the police to tell them what he had done, without any hint of fear or remorse.
Junior is the youngest of four brothers who were given up for adoption and were each adopted by a different family but remained in contact with each other. The older brother told police that the murdered couple loved their brother very much, but even as a child, he was always very aggressive.
This case is almost exactly a repeat of another brutal crime that occurred a week earlier in the Jaguar area, in the western zone of Sao Paulo. Another teenager of the same age, 16, took his father’s gun, who was a police officer, and shot his adoptive parents and sister because they had temporarily taken away his cell phone as punishment for bad behavior. He then went to the bakery to buy bread and remained at home with the bodies until Sunday evening, when he called the police to come and collect the bodies as he could no longer bear the strong smell of decomposition.
