The Boston Celtics, owned by Portuguese Nehemias Queta, beat the Indiana Pacers 114-111 on Saturday and are one win away from a guaranteed presence in the North American Basketball League (NBA) finals.
In Indianapolis, the Celtics once again asserted themselves and took a 3-0 lead in the Eastern Conference Finals, moving ever closer to securing a spot in the Western Conference Finals in a game in which Queta did not come off the bench.
For the Celtics, forward Jayson Tatum scored a double-double of 36 points and 10 rebounds, to which he also added eight assists, with good support from Jaylen Brown with 24 points and Al Horford with 23.
For the Pacers, who were without the injured Tyrese Haliburton, Andrew Nembhard was the leading scorer with 32 points, while substitute TJ McConnell scored 23.
