The jury in former US President Donald Trump’s trial over alleged bribes to cover up a 2016 campaign sex scandal resumed deliberations Thursday after testimony from key witnesses was repeated.
On Wednesday, after more than four hours of deliberation, the jury sent Judge Juan Merchan two requests, the first of which is to review four testimony related to David Pecker, a former editor who helped “cover up” negative stories about the Republican tycoon, and Michael Cohen. former lawyer and Trump’s right-hand man.
In the second request, a group of twelve people, seven men and five women, asked the judge to reread the instructions given at the beginning of the day.
