“I never had any doubt that he was guilty. They took the gold, silver and watches, but the shop was not damaged. Nothing is broken or broken.” These are the words of Catiana Lima, 35, owner of a jewelry store in Povoa de Varzim that was robbed in June 2022, the suspect being her ex-boyfriend. Eight months later, PSP returned 200 of the 300,000 euros of stolen material. Four people are charged, including Katiana’s “ex”.
“I asked people to go to the jewelry store, to Trofa, where he is the manager, and take pictures. My works were easy to find,” he said. Katian also accuses the exes of stealing a car, domestic violence and kidnapping their two-year-old daughter. “Because he couldn’t distract me from the robbery, he took my daughter and didn’t let me communicate with her for 27 days,” Katiana said.
