Cedric Soares, 32, never made an appearance for the London side over the next four seasons and has made just five appearances this season after being loaned out to Fulham in 2022/23.
Trained at Sporting, the right-back spent time on loan at Academia before becoming an important member of the Lions first team, from which he left for Southampton in the 2015/16 season.
Young Portuguese midfielder Mauro Bandeira, 20, will also leave Arsenal at the end of the season without making his first-team debut despite being called up several times by manager Mikel Arteta.
