At around 21:00, Matosinhos/Lesa firefighters were alerted to a fire at a military installation.
The corporations of São Mamede de Infesta, Lesa do Balio and Leixões were also mobilized. The ambulance and intensive care team from the Pedro Espano Hospital in Matosinhos was also mobilized.
