PSP Setubal arrested a 50-year-old man and identified his 51-year-old accomplice for fraudulent practice of conducting code tests using illegal means at a driving test center located in the city of Barreiro.
It was determined that the subject “carried a hidden image capture system with him, streaming them to his confederate so that he could visually access the exam and, through a headset placed in the subject’s ear, indicate the answer.” correctly noted.”
After conducting a search, police seized various computer equipment. Cell phones, modified clothing to attach mini-cameras, batteries, computers and other equipment used to manufacture and maintain these types of fraudulent systems were found.
Based on what has been discovered, PSP believes it has dismantled part of a criminal network engaged in making large financial profits from the practice of this type of criminal offense, renting equipment and providing technical services for large sums.
