What’s the weather forecast for the next few days?
On Thursday [amanhã] There is a change in weather with cloudiness and dust movement from North Africa. The depression hitting the Azores will move to Madeira and then impact the mainland. Friday and the weekend will be marked by showers, hail and thunderstorms.
Then a cold fall situation arises. What does it consist of?
This is a high altitude depression with a pocket of cold air where it is difficult to predict where heavy precipitation may occur. Rain is expected throughout the country on Friday. Rain is expected in the north and center on Saturday and in the south on Sunday.
Could floods like those in the Azores occur?
The possibility of flash floods similar to what occurred in the Azores cannot be ruled out.
